How Do I know if my comp. moniter is motionless?

My computer blind isnt working...can someone tell me how I know if it really is insensible? Becasue i dont want to go and buy another one, if it isnt.and if so.could you plz relate me what to do bout it?>

Basically the only process is to hook it up to a new computer, if it works consequently something is wrong with your video card so you would obligation to check it. If you hook it up to a different computer and it doesn't work then your monitor is limp.
test it on another notebook if you can is one way or try reinstalling video drivers.
if you push the power button and it does nto turn on after its dead.

Could be that your video card is limp if the monitor turns on but no video is displayed..
