How do you politely hold on to general public from touching your monitor?
I've tried log, barking, and anything else I can imagine of. I've been contemplating putting up a sign that read "if you touch my monitor, you will die of a horrible death" but wasn't sure if that was going too far. Any thinking?
Answer:
Get a yellow sticky document and just articulate "IF YOU PUT YOUR FINGER ON MY MONITOR, I WILL BREAK IT OFF"
Stick it to the top corner. The next time someone does it, clutch their finger and ask if they seen your minute...
I dont suppose you realise how sad you nouns?
Typical anally retentive office worker!
Charge them for it. Money debate. Seriously, people are morons - I doubt you'll ever draw from them to listen.
Don't touch the screen please no entail for quip

SOMEONE MOVED AROUND THE ICONS ON MY DESKTOP SO I USED THE MARQUEE SCREENSAVER THAT SAID, "BACK AWAY FROM THE MONITOR". IT GOT A CHUCKLE, BUT IT WORKED!
you can other buy a screen protecter it should fit on the monitor. I cannot assure that they will stop but at most minuscule if they did touch you wouldn't see there greasy paw prints. Maybe if you explain to inhabitants why you don't like them touching your peak they might stop such as you could damage the moniter or it can be difficult to remove finger prints from the blind or maybe you can jump ahead and let them know that this moniter be an investment for you and you'd like to hang on to it in pious condition. I know that a lot ethnic group like to know why something is wrong or why they cannot do a dependable things, yes it can be a pain to explain but possibly that would stick out in near mind next time they try to do it again.
Hope I help. =]
My husband, an aerospace engineer, is constantly yell at me and my children about this same entity. The rest of us non-engineering types just don't attention, and some us could have a depth perception problem. It's not worth the time and action to whine about it. We get the message that fingerprints happen, and it's simple to remove them. As for detrimental a pixel, I would like to know at smallest one person who have damaged a pixel by a accidentally pushing on the blind. A polite way to address this issue is unproblematic. Use the screen the company provided, consent to people push, prod and poke on the eyeshade all they want, and sign out your nice screen at home. Unless you really want to be know as the computer peak psycho at work. The keep up next to your notes, bark and threats. You'll be in social Siberia at work contained by no time.
