Help beside Asus Notebook eyeshade flickering...?

Hey my tentative F3P Asus note book's eyeshade has be flickering. It only happen sometimes when I close and re-open the lid, where I find the blind to have black horizontal lines across it and the complete 'display' is scrolling really fast downwards contained by a loop - does that make sense? It's the exact same point with what happen to old tv's when they aren't right... hope that make sense!
Does anyone know how to fix this? Or would you know if Asus would qualify this as a 'break' under their warranty?

laptop displays are amonst the weakest links surrounded by a laptop system
this display is powered-up throiugh the hinges surrounded by most cases & in a few, through a flat belt cable besides one of the hinge, left mostly
the second type of nouns is much better

seems to be a minor irritant right very soon, but sure pointers to worse to follow

am not quite identifiable with your warranty jargon, but i would sure treat this as a major issue

as far as fixing it, if anyone is smart ample to fix hinges
