Please comfort me!?

My son have a dell computer and recently his monitor settings hold all be changed, this has cause everything to be too large to fit peak. the monitor is one of the older ones near the buttons on the monitor itself. is there anyone out at hand who can tell me what settings entail to be set on to fix this problem. Oh ya everything is sort of angled too.

on rebooting the system press "F8" key constantly until you grasp option of boot the select within safemode .. now while surrounded by there dance to Display properties and set it they way you have need of then reboot

start, control; panel, display, settings, i hold my CRT monitor set to 1024 x 768

sometimes this happens when you run a program and it change the resolution but doesn't change it final when it closes (a crash can cause this)
How do sort it out
Right click on a bland nouns of the desktop click properties when the dialogue box appears click on the settings tab at the top of the box you'll see a slider on the left mitt side of the box move it to the right a little 1024x768 is a well-mannered place to start and click apply if you don't like it window will revert after 15 seconds if you don't click ok

i have the same problem...on the monitor at hand should be 3 buttons, one with a + sign, one near a - signs, and one that looks like a piece of weekly...if you click on the - arrow, it will make the blind very small.after hit the paper looking button which will reset it, and it should be posterior to normal...hope this help, and if u have any further question, be sure to send me a message
