How can I procure rid of a resolution become aware of on my Monitor?

I purchased a current flatscreen monitor about a week ago, everything be working fine until yesterday. I started recieving a change resolution mind that pops up about onece a minute. It say exit or disable and it will not let you do any. My resolution is already set to it's recomemdation. I have also downloaded the drivers for the monitor. Don't know what to do to return with rid of it. Have tried everything I know, except for unhooking the monitor and hooking it up again, since dowloading the driver? Please Help, can't really even read my computer for this irritating pop up. All info appreciated.

EDIT: That's what I thought. I enjoy the same brand and kept getting those little popups adjectives the time. I wonder if you realize when it says to press button 1 or 2 to close or disable the message, it scheme the two leftmost buttons on the front of the monitor? For the first 3 days I kept hitting the '1' and '2' keys on the upright, getting more frustrated each time it messed up.

(If you ARE trying the monitor's buttons, but those aren't working, then you might try contacting their customer support. They come across pretty easy to work next to, compared to some other 'support' lines I've tried. It's possible you actually own a defective unit.)

I'm sure you've gone into control panel, display, afterwards setting to check it. There are certain programs that won't adopt certain resolutions.
