Why are small monitors not lower price?

A little item called cutback of scale, most society will buy a 17 inch monitor so the manufacturer can churn out more of these at a cheaper price. Not tons people would want say-so a 12" monitor so they become more expensive to manufacture. Dont look at it that theres smaller number glass contained by a small monitor so it must be cheaper.
Because you're trying to cram the same definition into a smaller space, which is more expensive to build and run.
Smaller computer moniters are high prices because they have to put adjectives the information of an ordinary computer into a smaller monitor.
Because the smaller a product is, the harder it is to construct.
