Why is my e-machines Monitor vanishing contained by and out?

It's possible that the this might be happening while the monitor change resolution due to some inactivity. I would first turn rotten all Power Saving choices and see if that help.

since its not real hoary there should be a warranty on it, i would check into getting a trial monitor
Well it's e-machines, so that's part of your problem. That's almost the crappiest brand you could have. It should be lower than warranty. If you have a few hours to annihilate you could call their customer support and pray someone will bargain to you so it can be fixed.
If you have any of those compact fluorescent bulbs surrounded by your house, you might notice a similar piece; when you first turn on the lights after a while of them being turned rotten, it takes a few minutes for the bulb to realize full brightness. Your monitor is doing the same article, as it also has a fluorescent bulb as the backlight. However, on my monitor, I usually win full brightness within a minute or so, so your crust is a bit different. Your eMachines monitor is probably a pretty low-end model, so if this is a big worry to you, try and return the monitor to the store and exchange it for a latest one, or at least try to acquire some store credit towards a nicer monitor.
