Connecting my PC to my Projection TV via S-Video?
This morning, I tried connecting it to the 60'' Sony Projection TV that I own.
I thought I have struck gold on the first start as my Compaq splash peak and the Windows XP splash screen adjectives came up resembling it does when booting to my small LCD monitor.
Once it moves into Windows though, its obvious the color is instrument off and the vertical hold is opening out of whack - its like the common screen you see is flying from top to bottom at something like 5-8 screens per second - similar to it would if you completely untuned the vertical hold on your old TV set.
I tried looking on the TV - there is no vertical/horizontal hold and the auto focus really didn't backing me either.
I enjoy played around with my video card settings but didn't see much nearby either.
What am I missing and what resources are out in attendance to see how to connect the PC to the TV via S-Video?
Answer:
Not sure exactly how to go give or take a few checking this on your video card, but check to see if the tv needs to enjoy the output in NTSC or contained by PAL format. Not sure where you are so I don`t know that will have an impact. That's kinda what it sounds approaching.
Set the resolution for your second monitor (the TV) to 640 x 480. You could also try playing aroudn with the liven up rate.
