What's wrong beside my monitor?!!?
Answers:
Do these simple steps-
Try to plug the monitor power chord to different power outlet.
Switch the monitor and tower's power chords and check if this solves the issue... That agency yu'll know if it is the chords that need varying.
If yu have a different monitor, plug it and check if it works economically. If the different monitor works, yur flat screen have gone kabooooom!
Also, unplug the data cable from at the rear the tower(a chord from monitor to tower) check if the monitor has power restrained on and if the screen have any floating colors(red, green, blue & white). If it does, the issue is with Data not self sent from tower to monitor properly. Which means, any the data cable requests changing or more serious issue...
Post put a bet on after yu do these steps, I will be watching for updates...
Good Luck!
Also, storms yu mentioned gives me a emotion that it is the power-bar(if yu have any) or the chords. Plz update after above steps...
The same brand of thing happen to my sister's laptop. I don't know really why it briefly comes on and then go out - something may be wrong with your processor - it's smaller amount likely that the monitor is fundamentally messed up I reason. I'd suggest taking it to a PC repair shop.
Is there another monitor you can plug within to check whether it is the monitor or the computer
If a proper picture is showing (if only for a few seconds) consequently my guess would be that your monitor has have it
The good word is is that if you are looking for a CRT monitor they are 10 a penny these days
I mull over you have virus or your monitor is just too dated. Virus scans are a moral idea simply to be on the safe side. or shut down your computer for days. It probably wants sleep lol
same thing happen to my flatscreen monitor the day after warranty expired. I forget what they call it inside the monitor but it was blown.
i would hold to keep turning the monitor on and stale and wait for it to stay on. Eventually that would not work anymore. Mine be caused by departure my monitor on at all times. You will hold to replace or have it sent out to a repair shop to enjoy it fixed.
It is most likely a video card ( chip ) problem. unless the picture stays on for at lowest 60 seconds later it could be the screen depositor settings.
Hope this helps
