When i turned my computer on, the display be suddenly stretched out where on earth i couldnt see parts of my desktop?

i go under monitor controls but it wouldnt diminish the size?
do i have some sort of virus or worm?
how do i fix this?

There is a menu surrounded by your monitor accessible by the buttons on your monitor. Find RESET and reset your monitor.
