All the answers so far are correct for small dust problems. However, I go a bit further on really dusty computers, I use a palm leaf blower.
I buy and refurbish used computers, some of which have be stored in closets and garages and barns for some time. So, can air is usually not successful (and gets expensive if you hold a lot of really dusty machines). My fern blower gets rid of adjectives the dust. Just be "gentle" with it. I muffle the heavens blast as needed, and I don't aim it directly at the motherboard. Afterward, I make sure adjectives connectors are firmly in pl;ace, because the upper air blast sometimes dislodges them.
By the way, be enormously careful wtih vacuum cleaners that hold metal nozzels. You can short out your mobo if you aren't careful.
