My computer is pitch black even when i turn it on, what do i do?
Answer:
Do you go and get any sign of power at all ? Unplug the biggest power, for safety; check adjectives the cables surrounded by / on the PC, then plug the most important power back contained by. See what Happens.
If this is a Laptop, it is distinctly possible, that the Screen has died. If this is a desktop, beside Separate monitor, check the signal to a separate monitor, or check the signs of power, if there is no power, or no sign of power, after the first place to start is the power supply, either on the PC, or on the Monitor
Check your cable. Make sure the power cable is in properly and that the monitor is also correctly connected to your computer.
1. Send it to the computer repair shop.
2. Buy a different computer.
Check You cables first. If they are fine after if the monitor has a feathery on it see if the light go on.If it doesn't then you cord or the monitor is impossible. But if you still have trouble help yourself to it to a repair shop.
Does the power light come on,on the monitor? After the monitor is on for a minute, run the rear of your hand across this eyeshade. Does it feel stat-icy? If yes, look to your video card for the problem,,;-)=
I would vote go plug it surrounded by first, but I hope your not that much of an airhead,
when you turn it on -
1) do you hear any noise whatsoever from the piece of equipment ?
2) does the monitor make any noise like its trying to power on ?
3) have anyone moved the computer tower from where it have been sitting ?
4) any destiny of a dog or cat getting behind tower and messing things up ?
5) are you plugged into a power strip that have an on and off switch ?
6) try plugging a storm lantern or something else in to outlet to net sure it has power.
7) If the computer make its noise resembling normal when it boots up, and zilch on monitor, check power to monitor and check the connection on fund of computer make sure its plugged surrounded by tight.
8) Has anyone else been messing near the computer,, if so I would smack'em a few times till they tell you what they did to it,
but for,, then phone up a friend that knows roughly 'puters to come look at it,
otherwise call a shop,
The display is misty... but are there any lover noises, lights on the front, disk leisure, etc?
If there are, and it's a desktop, try another monitor... or try your monitor on another domestic device.
Likewise your video card, if it's not built-in.
If there's no activity at adjectives, check the obvious... fuses, try another power cord, etc., label sure the "on" button on the front panel is connected and working.
Try changing the internal battery-operated - usually a "button" battery within a clip on the motherboard
Have the supply unit checked - this is not something to do at home, unless you know what you're doing - if it's a laptop, check that it's getting a charge from it's power adaptor
Finally, thieve it to a competent repair shop and ask for a professional opinion - but be in position to spend money
