Bought an acer 19 inch widescreen monitor. Doesn't come beside drivers for Windows 98. Everything is stretched.

I've get an acer 19 inch widescreen monitor which didn't come with drivers for Windows 98, nor can I select the proper resolution contained by the Control panel (highest is 1280x1024). The driver selected automatically (Plug and Play) make everything look stretched. How can I fix this?

Answer:
Try updating your graphics card drivers with the current one, sometimes your symbolic card will give you an likelihood to change your video blind settings. You can also do a Yahoo or Google search for Win98 drivers for a widescreen monitor.

Also check the Acer website for a driver for the monitor you bought from them.
Update your graphics card drivers.
