How do I connect my computer to my TV?

My TV have a VGA connection, when I hookup my computer, I see the startup process impeccably, but when it goes into window, the image is super distorted. Is in that a resolution setting I should use, or is it a different problem, anyone have any suggestions?

Answer:
Lots of hardware out at hand to do so. Much of it is very superior over the past 5 years.

If you hold a digital television its even better...if youre looking to connect to composite (the wan RCA connector) or S-Video, youre going to be disappointed. Even at 640x480 the picture will be terrible on TV.

In standard all SVGA metaphors will look terrible on a TV unless its 320x200...or unless its something next to large lettering such as a Power Point type presentation...

In any covering, you can always buy and try a product and see for your self...depending on your application you may own better results than I've ever had...
