Help! Everything on my monitor is really small!?

I've lately bought a new PC and everything on my monitor (which is alike one I used with my old-fashioned PC) is really small - the icons, the programs, even writing on the network pages (they hold a blank grey area to the gone and right of them).

I imagine my PC is set up for a bigger monitor. How do I adaptation it so that the images look more close to my old PC?

Answer:
simply travel to the desktop (screen with your milieu and icons)
right click on it using you mouse,
select "display settings"
then a pane will open,
it will own some tabs at the top
blind saver, desktop and other things,
select the settings tab (should be far right)
on this pane you should see a sliding bar
it would most probable be to the right side,
if you click on it and move it to the left more and click aply your eyeshade should become bigger.
(see www.sinquel.org/mon_sl.png )
Right click on your desktop and select properties. Then go to settings and find the resolution slider and play something like with it until you win a size that you like.
Just translation your monitor settings, it's very smooth.

Go to Start... Settings... Control Panel... Display (icon of a screen)... Settings tab...

Then play around with the Screen Resolution slider until you take the size that fits your screen best. Don' forget to click "Save" and that's it.
right click on your desktop -> Go to Properties
Go to settings
decrease the screen nouns (Resolution)
try with different settings to catch the one you had up to that time.
try this:
Do a right click on our Desktop>Properties>Settings Tab> Screen Resolution> Try working on that.
Change the desktop resolution to a lower setting. To do this, right click on the desktop, then Properties, Seetings tab.
Right-click on the desktop, select properties, select the settings tab, and dwindle the screen pixels resolution.
I grain your display resolution is very large.
So you need to adjustment the resolution first of all.
right click on desktop->properties menu->Settings tab
and consequently change the display resolution to a lower helpfulness.
Press OK and see.
You can alter the desktop resolution by using RIGHT CLICK on a blank part of the desktop and pick PROPERTIES. Then step to the settings section and move the SCREEN AREA settings to the gone. Then hit APPLY. This makes adjectives of the text a bit bigger.

Then, when you enjoy internet explorer OPEN, go to the VIEW menu and pick TEXT SIZE. Change this to Larger or Largest.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
seem you ve had lots of answers and from reading through would suggest you do both 1. adjust your monitor setting , if its a tft one you'll hold settings for this in your control panel also on the monitor itself ,2. adjust you display settings witch as afore mentioned right click on your desktop contained by a empty space and click properties , goto settings and adjust the slider railing to the size witch is most comfortable for yourself , also on the settings panel theres an advanced button if you click that and make sure its set to apply minus restart other wise every time you devolution it , you'll have to restart your PC :) , hope that help .
