Why does my VGA splitter not split - but instead solitary go to 1 or the other?
I read that the 9th is a unrestricted +5V - and I understand its not necissary.. But when connecting a projector and a monitor to it - the projector other steals the signal (and the monitor may or may not flicker a little). Unplug the projector - monitor is good.
Is it that 1 pin thats doing it? Is it magical? These do look resembling *older* style VGA cables and possibly the newer always come near 15 pin? there be like 15 ordered and they may be trash immediately..
Answer:
Most newer VGA cables own all the pins because newer monitors (especially LCD) call for them. Older cables may not produce a moral image on LCD and projectors. You may see a shadow or incorrect colors.
