it sounds like you want to install the driver and check to see if your video card supports that resolution also. you can check to see what your video card is by going pressing windows flag knob and the pause break knob, click on the hardware tab, device manager and check you video card nearby.
get that driver installed first, that might be the use, when you are in the device proprietor if you see a yellow ?, than you know that it is the driver that requests to be installed. if not than you know that your video card does not support that resolution
You would hold to insert the driver cd that came next to the monitor. That will tell the computer that the monitor is a widescreen monitor and have the capability to run at that resolution.
Go posterior to comet and ask them for an installation disk. They probably forgot to put it in the box.
