How do I fix the "jitter" on my graphics card?

I enjoy an ATI 9800pro and when I run a game at 800X600 resolution, the frame jitters hectically. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

Answer:
Using the "Settings" within the Display properties utility for your video monitor, change the cycle settings from the usual 60 Hz to a greater number...say 75hz.
I don't know what you be set to by jitter. Try uninstalling your drivers, running drivercleaner (the free version), and installing the latest drivers from AMD's site.
