Monitor driver needed to support 1024 by 768 resolution?

I hold a 14 inch digital monitor of "Salora" company. Though the monitor is of Salora company, the picture tube inside is of a different company, probably Samsung, as far as I remember when I once got the monitor open for repair purpose.

Currently I have set the blind resolution to 800 by 600. But I need to modification it 1024 by 768 pixels to run some applications. When I change the setting to 1024 by 768, the eyeshade display is hazy and keep on refreshing.

I know for sure that the monitor supports SVGA 1024 by 768 pixels, coz I had in fact done that a few years ago. But I have lost the driver disc. The monitor is approx 5 yrs old.

Is at hand a third-party driver that can work with this monitor at the superior resolution ?

Answer:
- At the back of the monitor, you will find a sticker wise saying that the monitor is manfactured by "xyz" company and a Serial Number will be written below...there might be a FCCID and Model Number as in good health;

- Copy these data on a piece of composition;

- Open DriversGuide:
http://www.driverguide.com/

-Register for a FREE Account if you don't have one already;

- Search for the Monitor by Manufacturer, Serial Number, Model Number, FCCID, and afterwards select the best match for the Operating System you are using...

Another item you can do is run the Windows Update if you are running Windows XP...
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/...
it should automatically detect and update drivers

This is always the easier resort, but obly if you have a authentic copy of Windows...

Hope you find this usefull...
Try www.download.com and search video drivers. You may enjoy to try a few if you can't find the brand name driver. A 5 year behind the times 14" monitor is ready for a replacement :).
