I work surrounded by a computer lab and also do computer tutoring with students one-on-one. Sometimes it's really rugged to get them to find something on the eyeshade without pointing to it. These days, however, fingerprints on the cup is no longer the issue with touching your computer monitor blind, it's the oils from your skin on the LCD blind that's the problem. So, I was contemplating using a laser pointer and be wondering if there might be any issues beside that?
Answer:
Other than pointing it at someone's eye by mistake it should be no problem at all.
