Why does my acer al1715 monitor travel black after a couple minuts of use?

Go to your CONTROL PANEL and into the POWER MANAGEMENT settings. Adjust the settings for time or to off.
check your power command settings you may have it set to turn monitor bad after a few minutes if not return it.
