Anyone know what to do near an prehistoric computer monitor?

I'd approaching to donate it somewhere in the San Francisco cove area (east/south bay). Any suggestions?

Answer:
Donate it to a community center, university or to a person within need.
You can donate it to a threft store or possibly go online and see if any school need them.
goodwill or support army
Give it to Habitat for Humanity. They put together low cost systems for the children of low income families who can't afford one.
Scools will help yourself to them, for the classes to learnby the side of
throw it out the window for fun, see it crash!
any give away or toss it out at a dump
High explosives are usually fun
here's some hasty ideas:

- flower pot (remove the crystal and innner electronics)
- bedside kerosene lamp , unless it's a 21" one in which bag you could make it a ceiling hang lamp(use your imagination on this one)
- give it to a metal strip to smash it for their video clip
- bedside cabinet, attach a surface on the top
DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. Most states have law regarding the proper style to dispose of a TV or PC monitor. There are things inside it that would not be good contained by a landfill.

To avoid dealing with adjectives that, simply donate it as suggested above.
