Can I run dual monitors within Windows XP Professional on a NVIDIA Quadro4 700 XGL?

Answers:
Hiya KT,

YES! The Quadro4 is dual monitor arranged and Windows XP will detect the second monitor as soon as it is attached. All you have to do is hold a 2nd monitor with a compatible cable. Some monitors will necessitate an adapter to attach to the second receptacle on the Quadro4.

Once the 2nd monitor is attached you will have to update Windows to make it busy so your desktop is extended to it.

To do this:

1) Open the Windows Display Properties applet in the control panel, or you can also unfold it with a right click on the desktop and after select PROPERTIES from the drop down menu.

2) Once display properties is opened, click on the SETTINGS tab along the top.

3) Once surrounded by settings you will see 2 monitors in the pane, but one will be grayed out. Right click on the grayed out monitor and select ATTACHED from the drop down menu.

4) Click OK or APPLY and the 2nd monitor will come to life.

DONE!!

GOOD LUCK!!
