I somehow changed my computer setting and very soon the start button on the lower vanished is not green anymore??

You changed your matter, right click on your desktop and select "Properties" from the context menu. Go to the "Themes" tab and select the Windows XP Default (may just be tabled as Blue).

If you don't want to reset everything, go to the "Appearance" tab instead of the "Themes" tab and conveyance the "Color Scheme" to "Default (Blue)"
Go into control panel and task public house and start menu.
