2 screen: How can I hold one using a fullscreen and the other doing something else?
I can do this if I extend the desktop across the monitors. However, if the 19" is running a fullscreen app and the notebook peak has some other windowed program unfurl and I happen to click on the notebook blind, the fullscreen app minimizes.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.
Answer:
I'm sorry I don't know how to solve that issue, but I just bought a 24" gateway monitor next to enhanced attached speaker bar so I can do equal thing beside one screen near PIP (picture in picture).
Hoping to view Oprah while working on the internet.
Its not your monitor that runs applications even though your using multiple monitors you CPU is what is running the applications. I use two computers hooked up to a Plasma with a PIP input (picture within picture) That allows me to view both computer diplays on one blind where i can size the PIP input.
You can try a program call UltraMon.

Not sure how well it would work if you be trying to use apps on both screens simultaneously, but if you needed to say, keep under surveillance a video and play a game at te same time, or merely keep a browser glass, or media player up, it should work fine.
I contemplate you'll have a unyielding time solving this problem. Remember that the PC is extending your desktop over two screens. You do not hold two separate desktops.
Anyway, try running the game contained by windowed mode if possible. You should be capable of choose a near fullscreen resolution even when windowed.
Search the hobby readme or web page for info almost running the game windowed.
PS. As the other guy say, try Ultramon. Though it won't solve this problem, it is still a must have app for multi monitor setups.
PS2. Another nice little app you might inevitability is Mouse Jail (http://www.dr-hoiby.com/tools.php)... In some games the mouse is not locked to the screen (running fullscreen mode) This can be fundamentally annoying when using multi monitor setups. This app will keep the mouse locked surrounded by the game until you close the hobby or alt+tab out of it. Pure gold.
