Hiya Mike,

On the Acer AL-1711 you must first push the Menu button. This will bring up the OSD (on eyeshade display) menu. on the bottom row of icons, choose the second one from the not here which should have the work "AUTO" on it. This is the auto-configuration utility. for more information roughly your monitor and how to reset the auto-configuration utility, click on this link to the brochure at the ACER support website:
