Problem near video driver and monitor?

i own a 7600gt and i installed the latest drivers from nvidia, also, i enjoy a Samsung monitor (204bw). the problem is, the card thinks the monitors aboriginal resolution is 1600x1200 but its not, its 1650x1080 and it wont go any high than 1600, what could i do to fix this?

Make sure you download latest drivers from Samsung first. Windows have to tell the video card what monitor you're using. Then you should own the settings available to you.
