My monitor is flashing on and stale, My notebook keep freezing and will shut bad and restart .What is going on.?

i enjoy changed monitors My gateway will not stay on. My smaller samsung monitor will fliker on and off.Is this my video card or PC.

Answer:
this sounds similar to a video card problem. Try removing it and reseating it back into the slot. On intermittent occasions it could be a bent pin on the VGA connector. (monitor plug)
Maybe it is possessed?!
