Why does my computer monitor hum so LOUD? It wasn't this loud contained by the instigation. Can it be remedied?

If it’s a CRT after its time to throw it out (its probably not under warrantee)
Time to buy a topical one.
as computers get ancient their fans wear out and start to hum or clang, so you could try replacing the internal fans (they are unbelievably cheap). Also try removing some of the dust build up that clogs the fans.
