Why peak adjectives of a sudden go blank?

computer will still be on, no response to any keyboard impulse at all. runnin xp medium center. could be on for 1 hour and bam! blank screen computer stays running or 1 afternoon bam bank eyeshade!

What do you need to do to fix the problem? With non-LCD monitors, you can sometimes develop a hardware problem, where on earth the monitor shuts down when it get too hot. If this is the baggage, switching the monitor off (not the computer, newly the monitor) and letting it cool for a while (several minutes at least), then turning the monitor wager on on will _temporarily_ fix the problem. But it will probably overheat again soon.

If this happens, you could try to hold on to the monitor cooler (blow a fan over the final?). But the real answer will be to capture a new monitor.
May I ask what form of monitor you have?? It sounds approaching my problem...I know that didnt' answer your question, but possibly we could find out the same info together, esp if it is like brand...(mine is/was BenQ)
