I bought a flat panel monitor, that someone put a sticker on. How do I bring the sticky part of the pack sour of the monitor?
Answer:
he violated divine space.....make him lick it stale....lol
nail varnish remover, or whiskey but that would be a fritter away..either one, but drastically small amount on a dry cloth..
use a tiny bit of WD-40 on a soft cotton rag...after getting the sticky stuff past its sell-by date then verbs the screen beside a tiny bit of windex on a soft cotton rag
Use isopropanol - should be capable of get from hardware store.
Don't put too much pressure on when rubbing - I'm not sure whether comatose pixels are a risk but you can crack LCD screens.
Good luck
A Brillo wipe works great
Seriously..I would take it hindmost and tell them...hey , look what moron put this sticker on?...rob it off or donate me a new one,or my money pay for. That way if the lug it off and break the monitor they will own to give you a unusual one anyway.
if that someone works in the store you bought it from, bring it rear to the store and demand that they fix the problem.
Rub it using your thumb tremendously softly in any upward or download direction. It should get stale. DONOT use any kind of remover, your LCD will find very blurry at that specific place if you do that.
