my computer LCD monitor have colour, but seems to enjoy a yellow tint over the top, l dont give the screen on minus a screen depositor, and l,m not away from pc long plenty for it to burn out, l have have the monitor less than 12 months.

If you own button on the outside front of your monitor, look for the one you can press that will bring up some monitor settings on your screen.
Find the symbol that looks approaching a U shaped magnet that has a splash through the magnet. The other buttons on your monitor should allow you to select that image so it can be clicked on. That magnet sign selection should 'reset' your monitor, hopefully stern to it's original colors, etc. At lowest that always worked next to mine. Good luck.
