No. For one entry, they are cheaper than LCD, by about 1/2, or even more if you buy one used. For much larger screen, say above 21 inches, an LCD can be exhorbitant.
Second, LCD monitors will sometimes hold a pixel or two that don't work right, a CRT will generally be flawless.
As LCD prices begin to come down, next it is likely that CRTs may become non-operational, but as long as CRTs have a significant cost benefit over LCDs and family keep buying them, they'll still be around.

Well, I don't know anyone who is requesting those next to there systems anymore, but they are still better within some respects like color and renew rates. If you have the space, you can mark a decent 21" CRT monitor for pretty cheap presently compared to years ago!

I am still using 19 AOC monitor. CRT last longer and dot pixel free than a LCD monitor. :)
