I can't set my montior on its maximum resolution?
I enjoy tried updating my monitor and video card drivers and I have tried using a different strengthen rate and nothing change. On my old monitor I could use difficult resolutions. What can I do to get this to work properly?
Thanks!
Answer:
Right-click on your Desktop, later click on Properties.
That brings up the Display window. Click on the Settings tab, and you will see the Screen Resolution settings available on a slider fishing rod. Move it all the style to the top, then click on Apply, and see what it give you. If everything is too small and you can't read the letters, hindmost off a dimple and try that.
It should also show you the Display adapter you're using.
When you're done trying all of the setting and settle on one, translate the Color Quality setting to Medium (16 bit) rather than 32 bit. You won't be capable of tell the difference within picture quality (Unless you're doing some dignified quality graphics or color rendering), and your computer will run for a while faster.
your monitor can, but does your graphic card support that resolution?
Look close to you need another monitor, beside a third choice. It is not an esey problem to resolve, good luck.
Are you competent to verify that your Gateway monitor can actually support the superior resolution with another notebook?
firstly use your graphic card interface to correct resolution...not display properties nvidia display is a excellent interface..i can get max res on a 17 inch crt no probs anothet tip try lowering your strengthen rate..then modify your resolution...and if succesfull increse your refresh rate backbone to normal...the individual other answer wuold be your monitor has be set to a certain res keep a tight rein on,that is the problem near companys like dell and gateway ,they close to you to buy a whole system ,not basically a monitor....in my inference acer and p/bell make the best monitors for your money
