Ok it sounds that this might be an overheating problem to me. I believe that perhaps your video card might be overheating. When the video card capture way too hot it will automatically shut bad. And because it shuts off,the monitor will lose the signal and might also kinda shut sour.
And because the part overheated it will not permit you turn it back on until it bring back back to an pleasing temperature.
There might be a simple fix to this problem and here might not be. Please check the fan of your video card (if it have one) check if its dirty. Remove the dust with an anti static duster.
There might also be a small destiny that perhaps your CPU is overheating.
