I hold a syncmaster 920n flat panel monitor and all in-game shadows display extremely rough no matter how much I adjust my display settings. When I connect a average crt monitor I don't have this problem.

I enjoy a flat-panel TV and the sad entity is, the image ability is often granular. If you ignore it, you scarcely even notice though... perchance you should focus more on the actual main components contained by the game and not a short time ago their shadows. :)
