Monitor Problem?

My monitor frequently blinks or flickers (whatever). Is this a monitor problem and how can I fix it?

Answer:
by an strange monitor
Throw it out
maybe the lead is out of its place in the cpu...if wires are to some extent connected, enough electricity doesnt go and get through
1st and easiest solution... check the connection at the rear legs of your computer. Loose connection will effect this problem.
2nd check the frequency your monitor is set to. Generally.. 60 to 70 (to 72) hz is the correct range.
3rd try another monitor on your computer set the frequency to the frequency down on the back of the monitor. IF the problem still occur, change the video card. it could be failing. (best to borrow one to try or enjoy a 2nd 'testing' video card on hand. If the problem stops.. replace the monitor, the CRT is failing.
Well problem is surrounded by your monitor ... how old it is.. if it's reasonably old next consult the person from whose you bought it... check the wires.... if it's plugged correctly contained by... and may be other cases.... but there are only just problem arised in computer monitor.... so i don't know why?..
mine do that when its cold
