How do I find out what monitors are compatible next to my dad's gateway? I want to find him a used monitor.?
Answer:
I assume you suggest a Gateway PC - virtually any monitor should work. Though if you wanted to be unquestionably certain, you should own posted the model of the computer in the request for information.
Monitors all hold one of two types of connections these days - and near are adapters for them, so any old monitor should suffice.
Depends on how infirm the gateway is. If it runs Windows 3.x, then look for a used vga monitor. If it runs chronological Windows 95, you can get any used monitor out in that. Try ebay or newegg.com.
well hes right in attendance are two different types of port for a monitor here this is the one that will go into your computer VGA its essentially the one that should unless you upgraded your graphic card to a 256mb later you have two ports that are VGA and DVI....
DVI is better for more better narration its basically used next to HDTV the VGA is gonna work for a old computer
I dream up any kind would be compatible, no difference.
Any monitor will work. You can buy a 19" CRT immediately in the inventory of $100. Buying a used one is not a good belief.
