My blind darken and i hold to hi-lite to read some of the information.How do I fix this?

Right-Click anywhere on your desktop. Go to Properties, Settings, Advanced and click on the Tab that have your Graphics Card (i.e., Intel(R) Extreme Graphics, Nvidia Geforce etc...) and then choose Graphic Properties and make higher your Gamma.
Raising your Gamma will raise the brightness of your blind.
What make of your eyeshade? Is it TFT? Is it LCD? If you have the tube type after your pot for lighting and ray tube have develop fault.
