How do I fix my purple monitor peak?
Answer:
Try it with a different computer and different cable. If the issue persist check the settings on the monitor.
Is it a CRT? Your green may be out. A CRT uses red, green, and blue. Red + Blue = Purple.
Maybe time for a unsullied monitor. Let me go ahead and suggest LCD.
Try checking that the cable are plugged in carefully to both the back of the monitor and the rear of the PC. If they are, you need to move about to the menu on the monitor (should be a button on the front or side of the monitor) and use the other buttons to scroll through the different options until you get hold of to color or find a setting that says defaulting and reset to default.
What nature of monitor do you have? Is it a flat panel or is it a bigger one (CRT)?
The monitor cable might hold bent or broken pins in the connector. Look at the connector (the fall where you connect it to your pc's video card) and see if at hand are any bent pins.
