What should I use to verbs my computer next to?

I requirement to clean the monitor.It is a 17" flat eyeshade and was told not to use Windex or any chemical cleaners. Also stipulation to clean the inside of the sturdy drive shell as well.I want to clean the fan/fans, and kind sure everything is clean so my computer won't own to work so hard to surf and etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. use optical cleaner for the peak. The same stuff they use for glasses.
