Multiple monitors: why is it that when i maximize secure programs i cant use both monitors? i can single use 1.

when i maximize my medium center program on the TV i cant use my LCD. is there a track to fix it so that i can use my LCD while viewing a movie on the tv?

both screens are set at 1024 by 768

i encounter a similar prob and played with the settings. i did the above and consequently had to resize the second monitor because it be a smaller screen. but if the desktop is not expanded onto the second monitor, it switches to the second monitor one and only. this is not necessarily a universal fix, but it resolved my problem beside that.
