Monitor choice for Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 320 MB?

Yes, I said 320 mb not 640 mb. For the Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB, I own a choice between these two monitors:

19" 1440x900

and

22" 1680x1050

(both are same price)

I've heard that the 320 mb doesn't jump well beside higher resolutions but I don't know the decrease. I am planning to play Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Age of Empires 3, CSS, Call of Duty 2, and all those large quality games. I want to run on full element with elevated frame rates.
Can the 8800 GTS 320 MB handle full point with great frame rates on the 22"?

grasp the 22" it is much worth it, u'd would be happy surrounded by the end, and plus hte 19" is small, getting the gts next to a 19" would be stupid, you can get excellent frame rates on a 19" beside a geforce 7 series
