A friend of mine have managed to somehow uninstall his Internet Adapters and him and I both own search countless computer files (in My Computer setting) and nowhere are we even seeing the word Adapter(s).Where do we locate the adapter needed to connect him to the Internet using High Speed Internet ? and how would we step about reinstalling it stern into his settings so his Internet Provider picks it up and allows him online ?

Answer:
try going to control panel, then to administrative tools and afterwards computer management- then click on device manager- find your device - at fix it. Becareful contained by this area though.
you can locate adapters within your device manager within your hardware by going into system in control panel..
While I agree beside the others that you can fix it via device manager, I would recommend that you not dance there. I influence this not to be mean, but because if you are have problems already a mistake in the device officer will greatly increase your problems.

If you are having problems next to your internet adapters reinstall the software for them. If you are running Windows 2000 or higher it should prompt you when you start up next to a box saying hardware have been found (internet adapter). At that point you can pop surrounded by the driver CD and install the drivers.

My two cents, accurate luck!
