In some cases..(very Rare) Monitors come next to a CD for the Drivers...
you might want to install them.
on a second make a note of..
You might need to update your Display Drivers as okay..that might solve the issue..

How to install your monitor drivers
Step 1 Unzip mag.zip record and stored to a folder where you are going to install the driver.
Step 2 Open the Display Properties fanlight. Do this by selecting the Display god in Control Panel, or by right-clicking anywhere on the Windows desktop (away from any icons). A small menu will get underway, left-click once on the last picking, Properties. This opens the Display Properties windowpane.
Step 3 Click on the "Setting" tab at the top of the window and later click on the "Advanced Properties" button.
Step 4 Click on the "Monitor" tab then click "Change" button. This will open out the Select Device window. Click "Next".
Step 5 Select "Display a detail of all the drivers surrounded by a location….", Click "Next"
Step 6 Click "Have Disk", then "Install-From Disk" menu appears.
Step 7 Change the footprints to where you stored the unzipped files, Click "OK"
Another "Select Device" windowpane opened. Select the proper monitor model number from the schedule.
Step 8 Select to load .INF database, It will take a few second for the file to nouns. The screen may flicker and move about black momentarily
Step 9 Click in Change Display Type fanlight.
Step 10 Click in Display Properties. The monitor type is immediately set.
Go to the support site if they have one and download software for it or use the disks that come with it....
If it is a tv/monitor and surrounded by a tv mode 800x600 would be used by default and unchangable....
ummm ..... ge the right video card driver for your system it controls the resolution on the monitor. not the monitor itself. Check next to the card manufacturer or the system entrepreneur
If the above driver advice doesn't work you may want to invest contained by a new video card. They usually come beside a set of drivers on CDROM. Your monitor is basically an output device, so it displays what the video card tell it to. If you have on the ship video (built in to the motherboard) it may be outdated and you may want to see if your board have a AGP slot so that you can upgrade the video, or go to your mainboard entrepreneur for driver updates for your onboard video device.
