I merely installed a unsullied widescreen monitor, adjectives of my photos are distorted. The primer is ok, merely photos are discouraging

I own tried to change the resolution setting but no luck. I lone have three settings. How can I custom set the resolution? My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 906BW. I contacted Samsung give a hand desk and they said it was not the monitor, it be my computer not allowing the changes needed. Thank you for your aid.

try control panel -> display properties -> settings, click the advanced button and go to the monitor tab and check the box that say "hide modes monitor cannot display" box, if that's already checked you'll want to try and update your video drivers, if that doesn't work you can try a utility approaching Powerstrip or most video cards made recently enjoy a piece of software that comes with them for setting monitor resolutions that should get hold of you the right one. You may also want to go to samsungs site and return with their INF file for the monitor and install it, its not really a "driver" per se but it should recount the computer what the valid display modes for the monitor are.

You may need to find a driver, but I REALLY don't infer the question.
