My computers filter blind has a cable and a clip on the end, I've never particular what it does or what it is ment to do. Does it have anything to do beside static electricty?
Answer:
Clip it on any metal parts on the casing... preferably at the vent of the power supply section. Idea is to diperse any electro static generated from the filter and ground it to planet so that you don't get a spike during skin contact.
