Few things to check - formulate sure that your monitor is connected to the correct port - if you have a graphix card product sure that the monitor is plugged into the bottom port - does this solve the problem
Do a factory reset on the monitor - unplug it then hold surrounded by the power button for 30 secs - try again
Open up you pc and if you enjoy a graphix card make sure it is seated correctly
If you own got on the bus graphix as well (you will have) plug the monitor into the port around the middle of the computer - does this work?
Start the computer up and hold on to on pressing the f5 or f8 key later choose the option for see VGA - do you get a picture ? if you do afterwards you may have a problem next to your graphix card - goto the control panel >system >hardware > device manager > click on display and this should narrate which graphix card you have > right click on it and uninstall > consequently restart your computer - does this work < if not you may enjoy a problem with you graphix card

chck ur sleep settings of the monitor. set it to a greater time of non activity.
if u own a sleep button it looks like a moon hit it consequently try turning everything on mine did that once
the problem is likely that you enjoy the wrong video card selected as your key one, if you have more than one (like a built within one for example), or that your resolution is set to something that your monitor doesn't support.
I had this problem once, I tried adjectives the settings etc. etc. It turned out to be a loose graphics card in the inside of the tower.
