I hold a laptop , Soltek MotherBoard,WinXP SP2,,it boots as a rule but after 1 hour the eyeshade go blank, comfort??
Answer:
I guess you are using LCD peak monitor,
If `yes'...then most probably it is because of overheating of SMSP supply for monitor.
hummm...try to save cool with some blower or so...& check !
does it work,,,if `yes'...tolerate me know , I will suggest you some practical way to keep hold of the SMPS cool.
Thanks :)
The best way to amount out if the problem is with the computer or the monitor is to try another monitor. I'm sure you can find someone to loan you one for a bit. If your hot monitor does not go blank after an hour, later your old monitor is flawed. If the problem continues with your borrowed monitor, after you probably have a video hardware problem. Check and generate sure your hardware settings and drivers are correct, and if you have a separate video card, form sure it's properly seated and cooled.
Good luck!
Overheating maybe?
Sounds resembling the computer is going to sleep or standby mode. Right-click on the desktop, choose properties, choose Properties, choose Screensaver, choose Power, and adjust the settings there to turn rotten monitor, hard disks, and standby settings to your penchant.
try it out with the other computer
otherwisr
dance to run and press "msconfig"
look at all the things
may be something should enjoy been changed
if you are using a vga monitor sometimes the not so visible reason
is a loose monitor to workstation connection. vga monitor( the ones that looks close to old tvs ) simply brighten up when the connection is suitable as the internal power supply is trigger by signals from the vga cable.
Other then afterwards check to see if your pc have bios options to set itself to sleep.
access the bios option depends very much on the motherboard or brand of laptop you have.
