if u dont hold a dvi connection on the rear legs of ur computer dont worry just about it. it just provides a sharper picture on larger monitors.
DVI is digital video input, which is another means of access to hook up a video source. DVI can have benefits to video standard, but it is not often noticable to an average user. The flawless old blue hookup is still important and compatable with almost any computer.
